Studied and passed Ms 1, 2, 3 & 7 based on vocational experience, IST and plenty of practice (plus the occasional visit to a study group).
Have supported the PD committee, many ASPECT conferences, assist the YM committee when asked and was previously on Council.
Professionally I am a CRE and PE for DeltaRail delivering IECC modifications and dealing with obsolescence issues. Previously I was a PE for vehicles on the Cambrian ERTMS Programme, Signalling PE for Metronet and CTRL
My aim is to encourage and support relevant training within the signalling, systems and telecomms engineers and to provide the railway with railwaymen (men as in mankind). It applies to younger members of course but to new entrants into the IRSE's scope or industry.
