Just to let anyone in the wild west of southern England that there will be a study group held in Bristol city centre from next Monday. It will be from 15:30 - 17:00 approx at the Amey offices, First Floor, 1 Redcliffe st, Bristol.
There will be at least four people who are very new to railways - we've all started as assistant signal designers at Amey in the last couple of months. Ikem, Gareth and Montserat are all Electrical Engineering graduates but I'm on track with the Open University for a BEng in 2009, and despite practical experience at the automated Ascentis building at Heathrow, I'd appreciate anyone lacking an electrical background to mutually cry with.
Good luck to everyone starting out! Hoping I feel smarter after monday...
