Attachements - mattslade222 - 16-09-2017 Hi All, Sorry if this isn't the write place to post. I am really struggling with uploading attachments! I struggled with PDFs, then got some success with .docx files, so assumed this was the problem. Unfortunately now I cannot upload those either. Are there any rules regarding the type and size of file you can upload or the browser version you use? Thanks, RE: Attachements - Peter - 17-09-2017 (16-09-2017, 05:45 PM)mattslade222 Wrote: Hi All, We are relaxed about attachments and you all have a very generous attachment limit (as we have never had an issue with it being abused) so there should not be a problem from that end. Also, the types that you have cited are both permitted. The limit per attachment is 2MB so if it is huge, it will be an issue, but otherwise should be OK. I have tested the forum with an upload and it seems to be in order. If you let me know what the actual error or issue is (screen shots are helpful), we can look at it. Thanks RE: Attachements - mattslade222 - 17-09-2017 A test from elsewhere by admin. First attachment is something to attach, second one is the screenshot showing the file in the file list. RE: Attachements - Peter - 17-09-2017 I have had a further look at your account and can see no reason for the problem (which does not help you). I have logged in as you (you can reset this using the password reset) and it all works fine when I have tried. You can loot at some screen shots when you log in using the new credentials. The only thing I can think to tell you to try at the moment is to do the sort of things the IT help desk would tell you - clear your brower's cache, try another browser or try another machine. If that all fails, try registering another account and see if that works (if it does, I can merge your two accounts so that all of your previous stuff stays together). Sorry that I cannot be more definite about solving it at this point in time. Peter |
