We are not meeting in October, but may hold some introductory sessions in November and the first part of December looking at some historic railway accidents.
Aim to be making a formal start right at the beginning of January; whereas there is no definitive cut-off, if you want to join us then please signify your intention sooner rather than later.
During 2017 we met almost always on Thursdays 16:00 - 18:00 at Siemens; we have at present three regular participants from other companies and have also offered remote participation via internet.
Anticipate continuing in similar vein unless the majority vote is for something different.
We will be having sessions on 7th and 14th December 2017 and then start next year on 11th January from 16:00 - 18:00. Will cover mod 1 primarily, but also mod 7 as much as we can as secondary perspective.
Primarily for those who can get to Chippenham, but where we can share audio / share desktop we will do so. It has normally worked pretty well, but the provisos are that
a) if encounter technical difficulties then we carry on locally
b) some sessions don't work so well (use of flipchart, use of video etc.)
We also want some engagement from those remote.
