The IRSE Council met on Tuesday for their December meeting at which the exam committee's recommendations should have been ratified. Those of us waiting for that moment of truth should not have long to wait now.

Last year, I chickened out of the waiting and got my wife to open it because I was away in Germany at the time. This year, at least I'll be at home.

I feel sorry for those who are abroard and have to wait that bit longer.

I spoke to the IRSE office on Friday afternoon. They were planning to post the results today: Monday 17th December. So hopefully those of us in Britain will receive them either tomorrow or Wednesday.

Could be the perfect early Christmas present; or then again...

Sounds as if they were sent out; I have heard that someone that lives in London received their's this morning, but I am not telling the result.
I have the double suspense as I rely upon my candidates telling me once they have heard.....

Typical, second rate service out in the provinces - perhaps it would be better if the mail trains stopped hadn't stopped! I can't speak ill of the post(wo)men though, I'm related to one my marriage.

A bit more suspense for me then....

At least it sounds as though you have the prospect of a later delivery. I'm reduced to checking under the mat, just in case, by a freak of chance, it went under there.

Nothing here in West Midlands yet, I thought it had turned up last week, quick mumble. Turned out to be a subs demand. Doubt I'll know till after Christmas now as I'm off to my parents.
