Having got fed up with the signatures part of the profile being used by those with nothing better to do than put meaningless posts on this and other such forums just to use it as a vehicle for publicising inappropriate and offensive websites, we have limited the length of signatures.
Sorry for those who used them properly, but as it is not really an integral part of the workings of the forum, it was the easiest option and most people who just put a name in there are not affected.
