They usually go before the December council meeting after the exam committee has agreed them. This means that they are posted out just before Christmas. Depending on how far you are from London, how much snow there is an whether my brother in law and his mates are on strike at the Post Office, you may get them before the holiday season.

The IRSE council meeting is today - so assuming the results are agreed, I guess they will be with us late next week....

Indeed I have heard that the results certainly got ratified by Council yesterday. Rumour is that the mod1 results aren't significantly different from previous years so the 3 questions in 60 mins didn't make a huge difference.

It does tend to take some time to get the results letters out and then dsubject to vagaies of the Christmas post with the added complication of weather conditions this year. Hence I guess that whereas UKcandidates will get their letters prior to Christmas I reckon will probably be sometime in w/c 18th.

It'll be interesting to hear as and when the first drops through the letter box at various [places around the country / world

I was in the IRSE office today. The ratified results have to be processed for sending out which will not be done before the beginning of next week. They have never not gone in the post before Christmas, but as has been mentioned, whether they get there quickly is an unknown. What are people's thoughts about e-mail notification?

No point you getting nervous now- you can't do anything about it; just look forward to Christmas and accept that the reslt is whatever it is.
Conversely I do have good reason to be nervous as Christmas is when the Reading commissioning starts- fingers crossed that trains will be running again in the New Year!

Not sure about the signalling, I think those in charge of driving the bridge in will be a bit edgy too.
