Ruler template?
#1
I have heard it suggested several times that it is worth making a long ruler that can be rolled up e,g, printed on paper or film.

Before I start drawing one up (on CAD) does anyone already have this in any electronic format that they would be willing to share?

Following the resounding silence I have made up a ruler "drawing" in MicroStation. I don't see why this can't be shared; is anyone else intereested?

I know that PJW has provided me with a template for a previous exam attempt. I doubt that I will see him in the next 2 days and would therefore be very grateful if either you, or Peter if he is listening, are able to supply a printable template for this, as using my scale rule is a bit of a pain seeing as it only goes up to 600 metres at 1:2000

Cheers

My template is in microstation format, and there is a block meaning I cannot post this type of file on the website. I can email it tomorrow if you send me you email address in a PM.

I do not have such a template but I do have admin rights to enable microstation file types to be uploaded. It had not ever occurred to me to check whether these were allowed and have now set the forum to accept them. Have another go at attaching it to a post.

Thanks Peter, I have got the file from Dorothy via email now, just trying to work out how to print it! But yes others may need it too.
