Good to hear the good news- do I assume that the IRSE reverted to sending results in the post this year rather than using email?

Interested to know that you might be considering the Telecoms modules- the YM have been considering  study day this year, but was getting the view that there may not be enough interest to back it worthwhile and may be trying to gauge interest at the Exam Review meeting on this Thursday.  It also sounds as if they might be considering a live weblink to enabl those who can't get to Westminster to observe, but as far as I know this has not actually been advertised so not sure what is happening on this

Brilliant Adrian well done, i heard some snippets of info apparently the world wide pass rate for mod 3 is 20%, the UK overall pass rate is 45% and the Irish overall pass rate is 67%

Congrats to Dorothy, AdrianM and StrongLifts5x5.

The candidates outside UK will even take longer for the exam result.

Why didn't they announce in the electronics email as last year did? Any idea when I should expect to have that? 1 week or a few days?

I agree - not the best practice to have people finding out over the course of a week rather than potentially at once over email. Something to raise on Thursday at the Exam review.

The result just arrived an hour ago. I failed both M1&M5. I could not find out the reasons yet why I failed.

Perhaps it's not detailed enough. I will post my failed attempt on this website later to see what I made it wrong.

Sorry to hear about that, dont let it get you down you will be ready next time.

I personally felt the Mod 1 layout was different from previous years and it did throw me I was sitting panicking during the 10 min read time, every question I answered had several differing components that I felt was harder to tie together than the previous Mod 1 papers.

Maybe its the way I read the questions but I'm looking forward to reading PJW's review from this Thursday.

Many many congratulations to all who passed and better luck for those who are waiting for result. Better luck next time for those who somehow did not pass this time.
