This did take place reasonably successfully; not quite as expected, but then I didn't really expect that!
The intention now is that Study Groups be set up in various Indian cities; we have identified / twisted the arms of some peopl to act as the group leaders who we hope will take the initiative locally to
1) gather the details of those interested across company boundaries
2) arrange with the various employers how where and when the group can meet,
3) decide which modules (2 maximum is recommended per year) the group will support
4) determine whether the emphasis will be placed upon UK / Indian practices and context.
The decision re how many, which modules and in what context an individual is to offer at examination in any year is a decision for each individual and may therefore be more / less / different to that group, but in a limited number of sessions then the group should concentrate on a limited objective to give maximum help to most, rather than spread itself too thin to be much use to anybody.

Study Groups
We also propose that
1. some early mock exams be held at the various centres in July and
2. a follow up weekend session be held in August in Delhi to discuss the various attempts made at those mock papers.
We'll attempt to distribute the various presentations and attendance certificates for the January event to the participants in a reasonable timescale; however don't expect these very quickly as we now have our day job and normal lives to catch up upon; we are not total Sig-nerds although at risk of becoming so!

The good news is that I have now got my Visa after a few hassles.

Looks like delegates are currently being selected by the various companies involved in funding the event.
