Providing that the move goes as planned (and we had a very good day yesterday despite a couple of minor setbacks which were overcome), there will be a Swindon panel open day at the GW society at Didcot.
The signalbox became redundant in February after some 48 years service signalling trains on the Great Western Main Line and will be relocated to be within a few hundred yards of Thames Valley Signalling Centre which has replaced it and many of its fellow Henry Williams domino panels and E10k Route Relay technology.

It will be quite a time before it becomes "operational" again when connected to a computer simulator, but plenty of opportunities to get involved in achieving that next step.
